Privacy Policy

This policy explains how information is accessed, processed, stored, and shared when you use the Prism Breaker Android game.

About this policy

Prism Breaker is an Android game published by SJ Synexus (“SJ Synexus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy applies to Prism Breaker, package name com.prism_breaker.

In summary: Prism Breaker does not require an account. Game progress and creations are stored locally on your device. Photos selected for Image Forge are processed on the device and are not uploaded to SJ Synexus. The game integrates Unity LevelPlay mediation for ads, which can serve ads from networks such as Unity Ads and Meta Audience Network, and Google Play Billing for the optional lifetime Remove Automatic Ads purchase. Unity, Meta, and other configured ad networks may process device, advertising, network, and ad-interaction information. Sharing and feedback occur only when you choose to use those features.

1. Information processed by the app

Local game data

Prism Breaker stores the following information in the app’s private storage:

  • level progress, unlocked levels, scores, stars, statistics, and achievements;
  • audio, music, haptic, theme, and other game settings;
  • saved custom-level names, brick layouts, colors, and Text Fun content;
  • the date and count of limited rewarded level assists used that day; and
  • a local entitlement flag showing whether Remove Automatic Ads is owned.

This local game data is not sent to SJ Synexus. Android device backup may back up or restore some app data if backup is enabled in your device or Google account settings.

Images selected for Image Forge

Image Forge uses Android’s system document picker. The app can read only an image you deliberately select. The selected image is decoded and sampled on your device to create colored bricks. Prism Breaker does not scan your photo library, does not upload the original image to SJ Synexus, and does not provide the image to LevelPlay or its ad networks. The decoded image is discarded after the playable grid has been created. Android may retain the document-access grant until app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled.

Clipboard and imported level files

When you deliberately choose the import function, Prism Breaker may check the current clipboard for a compatible Prism Breaker share code. Clipboard text is not uploaded. If it contains a valid level, the imported level data is saved locally. You can alternatively select a JSON or text file through Android’s system document picker.

Shared level files

When you choose Share or WhatsApp, Prism Breaker creates a JSON file containing the selected creation’s name, brick layout, colors, and, for Text Fun templates, the entered text or emoji. It does not include the original photo. The file is placed in the app’s cache and sent only through the external app you choose. The receiving app, service, and recipient process that file under their own privacy terms. A cached copy may remain until Android or you clear the app cache or app data.

Feedback email

The Feedback feature opens your email app and prepares a message to SJ Synexus. The draft includes the app name, developer name, app version and build number, package name, Android version and API level, device manufacturer and model, and device language. You can review or edit the message before sending it. If you send feedback, we receive your email address, your message, the included diagnostics, and any information you add.

We use feedback information to respond to you, troubleshoot problems, improve the game, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We retain support correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes and then delete or anonymize it, unless a longer period is legally required. You may request deletion by emailing us.

2. Advertising and Unity LevelPlay

Prism Breaker integrates the Unity LevelPlay mediation SDK. LevelPlay may request ads from the ad networks configured for this app in its dashboard. These can include Unity Ads and Meta Audience Network, which is operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. Registered test devices may receive test ads from configured networks; a test-track release does not, by itself, make all ad requests test requests. Production versions may display live ads. Rewarded ads are shown only after a player deliberately requests a reward. Interstitial ads may appear only when a player chooses Next Level after completing a level, at most once per three eligible transitions. The app does not use banner, app-open, pause, exit, or automatic mid-game ads.

Before initializing LevelPlay, the app sends restrictive GDPR-consent and U.S. sale/sharing settings through LevelPlay’s privacy APIs. Supported ad networks may use these signals, but they do not guarantee that every ad is contextual or that no technical data is processed. Depending on device, region, dashboard configuration, and applicable law, Unity and the configured ad networks may access or process information such as:

  • IP address and approximate location inferred from the IP address;
  • device and advertising identifiers, including the Android Advertising ID when available;
  • Android Privacy Sandbox ad topics and attribution signals, where available to configured advertising SDKs;
  • device model, operating system, language, app information, and network information;
  • ad requests, ads shown, viewing completion, clicks, reward events, and other interactions; and
  • diagnostics, performance, security, and fraud-prevention information.

Unity and the configured ad networks may process this information to deliver and measure ads, limit invalid activity, maintain security, provide reporting, and comply with legal obligations. They may use service providers and process information in countries other than your own. Unity’s practices and privacy choices are described in the Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy. Meta’s practices are described in the Meta Privacy Policy. If a particular ad provides privacy controls, you may also use those controls.

SJ Synexus does not directly sell your personal information. Unity and the configured ad networks act under their own privacy terms, and some advertising disclosures may qualify as a sale or sharing under some laws. Consult their policies and controls for details.

3. Google Play purchases

Prism Breaker offers an optional one-time Remove Automatic Ads purchase through Google Play Billing. Google Play processes the transaction under your Google account and its own terms. The app requests product details and may receive the localized price, product identifier, purchase state, purchase token, and acknowledgement status needed to complete and restore the purchase. SJ Synexus does not receive or store your full payment-card details.

When ownership is confirmed, Prism Breaker stores a local entitlement and stops showing and requesting ads: no interstitial ads and no rewarded-ad offers are shown while ownership is confirmed. The app may check ownership again when it starts or returns to the foreground so purchases, refunds, revocations, and restorations are reflected correctly. Google’s handling of transaction and account information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Permissions and system services

Prism Breaker uses internet and network-state access for advertising and connectivity checks. Advertising libraries may add Android permissions required for advertising identifiers, ad attribution, background components, and ad delivery. The app does not request camera, microphone, precise location, contacts, phone, or broad photo-library permissions.

The Android system document picker, share sheet, email app, backup service, and any third-party app you select operate under the privacy policies of their respective providers.

5. How information is used

Information is processed only as needed to:

  • run the game and remember local progress and settings;
  • create, import, save, and share player-made levels;
  • provide support and investigate technical problems;
  • deliver, measure, secure, and limit advertisements;
  • process, acknowledge, and restore the optional purchase; and
  • detect fraud or abuse and comply with legal requirements.

6. Data retention and deletion

Local game data remains on your device until you clear Prism Breaker’s storage or uninstall the app. Clearing only the cache removes temporary shared files but may not remove saved progress. Android backups may preserve or restore data according to your device and account settings.

SJ Synexus retains feedback emails only as described in the Feedback section. Unity and configured ad networks retain advertising data, and Google retains purchase and transaction data, according to their respective privacy policies and legal obligations.

To delete local Prism Breaker data, use Android Settings > Apps > Prism Breaker > Storage > Clear storage, or uninstall the app. To request deletion of feedback or other information held directly by SJ Synexus, contact us at support@sjsynexus.com. We may need limited information to locate and verify the request. Requests concerning information controlled by Unity, an ad network, or Google should be submitted using that provider’s privacy tools or contact methods.

7. Your choices and rights

You can:

  • play the main game offline;
  • decline optional rewarded ads, or remove all ads with the optional purchase;
  • choose whether to buy Remove Automatic Ads and restore a purchase made with your Google Play account;
  • decide whether to select an image, import a file, read a share code from the clipboard, share a creation, or send feedback;
  • review and edit a feedback email before sending it;
  • clear local data or uninstall the app;
  • reset or delete the Android Advertising ID through your device’s privacy settings where available;
  • use privacy controls made available by an ad network in a particular ad; and
  • contact us to exercise privacy rights available in your region, including access, correction, or deletion of information we directly hold.

8. Children’s privacy

Prism Breaker is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children. SJ Synexus does not knowingly request or collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information through feedback, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information handled by the app. No device, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Keep shared level files free of personal information you do not want recipients or third-party sharing services to receive.

10. International processing

Unity, configured ad networks, Google, and other service providers may process information on servers located outside your country. Where required, those providers are responsible for applying appropriate safeguards as described in their privacy terms.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, third-party services, or legal requirements change. We will update the date at the top and publish the revised policy at the same location. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or store listing when appropriate.
